My partner in Belgium is Annemie Van Uytven. She is 17 years old. I got the impression, that she is very friendly and social. She lives in a small village near Tienen. She has a goldfish called Olli (UNBELIAVABLE!!!). She also has another goldfish, but it's name is not important. She likes football, music, movies and parties. Especially music means a lot to her. |
My Finnish partner is Olli Lehvonen. He is a 17-year-old boy who lives in Sipoo near Helsinki. He is a former ice hockey player but nowadays he likes to go out with his friends for a drink or two, he also listens to music and goes to the movies. I have got the impression Olli is a very sympathetic and social boy. We even have got some things in common: we both hate sciences and mathematics, we love music and films and we like to go out and have a drink now and then. What I have learnt from this experience is that there are similarities but also many differences involving Flemish and Finnish youngsters. I have met a nice Finnish boy and at the same time I have learnt how to e-mail. For me this was a very positive experience and I would like to thank Olli for his active co-orporation to make the project work. Annemie |
