Thanks to the Finland e-mail project I 've met Heidi Maki. She's a 18-year-old girl and lives in a town called Pornainen (it's about 50 km from their capital Helsinki). She really likes her country, even the cold winters because the snow makes it so wonderfull.

Heidi is a very social and musical girl: she sings in a group, gives presentations, spends a lot of time with her friends and boyfriends,...

It seems to me we have the same interests, although she talks very general. Maybe it's because she's Finish... (she told me Finish people are not very talkative unless their drunk)

The thing which fascinates me most is that they celebrate Christmas so extensive. She really looks forward to it (I can derive it from her cheerful letters) She likes the Christmas songs, the feast with the whole family and friends, the presents, the big tree,...

I wonder what she looks like. So, Heidi, when you visit this site, please send me your picture so I can complete this site like the other ones.

This project was a successful experience for me, thanks to Heidi. She was a very nice girl to correspond with. I wish her all the best in everything she'll do in the future.
