My knowledge of Finland itself hasn't much increased because I hadn't
received the third letter. However, I do have a certain idea about daily life in
Finland: that it is, as I expected, pretty much the same as here. Of course,
there are some differences. For example, they have other schoolsubjects like
Swedisch and Finnisch. For the rest, nothing special in the letters has striked me.
Annina Kortelainen, the person I'm writing with, is very kind and friendly. She's an ordinary girl with a great passion for swimming and who loves
listening to Irisch music and to travel. She also seemed motivated to
mail(she said she would write back with a longer letter and that she'd love to hear
more from me). I think the main raison why our communication was so poor, was,
that we both had our computerproblems. She hasn't got a computer at home like
me so that she was forced to get on the internet elsewhere. Besides that, she
mentioned that she was also very busy. In compare with the others I really don't think I can complain. I hope
we'll
continue to mail but to be honnest, I don't think our mailing after those few
letters will last.
