Considering I only got involved in this project since the second stage, it is understandable that I did not get loads of information about this wonderful country. My partner, Sami, who had been corresponding with another student before he became my 'partner ', only wrote to me once. From that letter, in which he explained Finnish school life to me, I can't really give an impression of Suomi. This aspect of the Finnish society seems to be very much the same as in Belgium. However, when I hear some Finnish friends talk about their homeland, I realize they live a totally different life there… To me Finland will always be the land of snow, the sauna and Santa of course !
